Fieldwork on iPhone, iPad & web
Capture what you saw, where you saw it and what still needs verification. Fieldwork keeps source evidence distinct from the finished report.

Collect the evidence the assignment needs.
Notebooks hold assignment details, observations, measurement notes, photos, captions and follow-ups. Records can be associated with units, levels, rooms and other areas so a photo or note keeps its context.
Guided inspection steps adapt to the work: site and exterior observations, improvements, rooms and systems, and additional property-specific areas. Observed facts, reported information and items not yet verified remain distinguishable.
On iPhone, the native app presents a focused step at a time. iPad adds an inspection sidebar and wider forms where space allows. The browser provides a responsive notebook. Checklist completion is a collection aid, not a declaration of appraisal completeness.
Measurements and room scans need review.
On supported LiDAR-equipped iPhone and iPad devices, Apple's RoomPlan technology captures room geometry for review. The app also supports measurement notes and floor-plan evidence. Availability depends on the device and the installed build.
Inspect dimensions, room labels, included areas and classifications before using the results. A scan does not independently establish gross living area or compliance with a measurement standard.
Prepare online, collect offline, sync deliberately.
- Sign in and prepare the notebook while connected.
- Collect and save on the device during the visit.
- Reconnect and verify synchronization before relying on the cloud copy.
- Review and import the notebook from the desktop report's Fieldwork section.
Offline access to signed-in firm notebooks lasts at most seven days, bounded by license expiry. It covers local fieldwork only. Native mobile saves locally and retries pending synchronization while active and connected; the browser uses explicit cloud-sync controls.
The native app also supports standalone on-device measurements without signing in or connecting. Those measurement files remain separate from the firm's synchronized notebooks and are under your control in the Files app.
Local saving is not the same as a completed upload. Browser eviction, clearing site data or deleting the app can remove unsynced work. If there is a newer cloud version, preserve the local copy and resolve the conflict rather than overwriting it silently.
Import a snapshot, keep the evidence traceable.
Desktop import preserves the notebook's observations, labels, area associations and selected photo exhibits in a separate report snapshot. Proposed subject values require review; differing facts are not silently substituted.
Later notebook edits do not alter that imported snapshot. Reimport is a deliberate action. AI receives structured observations and photo captions from the report context; it does not analyze the photo image bytes in the current narrative workflow.
