Shared account, distinct responsibilities.

Membership, license and seat checks belong to the shared cloud service. Installing an app or connecting a sign-in provider does not grant extra report access.

A fieldwork notebook is evidence in preparation. Importing it into a desktop report creates a reviewed snapshot. Later notebook changes do not silently rewrite the report or a retained revision.

Platform and distribution boundaries.

The desktop packaging targets Apple-silicon Macs and Windows x64. The native fieldwork app targets iOS and iPadOS 17 or later, with room scanning dependent on supported hardware. Native mobile distribution is in testing; confirm access with the pilot team.

Do not assume browser, desktop and mobile are interchangeable. Browser storage can be cleared or evicted, while native apps use operating-system storage facilities. See storage boundaries and the release roadmap.
